Marsascala are in seventh heaven after obtaining their first win of the season when they saw off Zebbug Rangers 8-5.
It was a collective effort by the south seasiders as four goals by Filipov, a hat-trick from Josef Balzan and another by Steve Gambin gave the most precious three points.

“These three points will certainly boost our moral after such difficult matches. We encountered four top clubs in one month and these were not easy matches,” admitted Balzan.
“We have been training for months to be in shape for this season.”
