Full points for Luxol who remain the sole leaders of the league with full points, after bearing Msida 11-1. Their excellent performance was sealed with Florin Anton’s hat-trick, braces from Glenn Bonello, Celino Alves and Mark Zammit and two more goals scored by William Barbosa and Karl Azzopardi.

Msida’s Clayton Farrugia deducted the score when Luxol were two goals ahead in the first fraction of the first half.

Luxol’s next match will be against Gozo, a very challenging one for the Gozitans who are still at the bottom.

Swieqi gave little chance to Mdina, as they mastered the game with hat-tricks by Boicho Marev Gabor Balan and Christian Wismayer, together with three more goals scored by Omar Toutoungi, Timothy Gingell and Christian Hurtado Sanchez.

Mdina’s only goal was scored by Ryan Micallef.

Thus Swieqi reached Lija Athletic placed fourth, also with 18 points, two points ahead of Msida. Swieqi’s next delicate confrontation will be against the same Msida.

Mdina on the other hand, have a quite challenging game against Hamrun Spartans who are only two points behind leaders Luxol.
