After months of hard work and preparation from the Futsal Malta Association, Malta and Serbia opened the 4th International Futsal Tournament.

Serbia opened the score in the first minute through captain Mladen Kocic. Successfully they had a three goal advantage with a brace from Vladimir Milosavac.

Two minutes from the end of the first half, Malta’s vice captain Nicola Delre took advantage from a Serbian mistake in the midfield, came face to face with Serbian goalkeeġer Aleksa Antonic and netted the Maltese only goal in the match.

During the second half Malta had various chances to score especially through Jovica Milijic who managed to hit the post.

In the last minute it was again Kocic who sealed the 4-1 win for Serbia.

Tonight at 6:30 pm, Serbia will face off Gibraltar’s national team.

The Maltese National Team will be back in action, tomorrow at 6:30 pm against Gibraltar.
