Xavier Saliba, Carl Azzopardi, Melvin Borg and Matthew Attard were the goal-getters for Malta as San Marino conceded an own goal to make it 5-0.
In the dying seconds of the game, San Marino pulled a consolation goal to narrow the gap to 5-1.
