Hibernians registered their second win of the season after defeating Vittoriosa Stars 5-2. The Paolites came from behind and scored five goals that gave them the three vital points. A brace from Melvin Borg and David Bobokhidze and a goal by Xavier Saliba were enough for them to seal the issue.

In another match played on Friday, Qormi had the better of San Gwann and won 3-2. For the winners this was the second success of the season while San Gwann suffered their first defeat.

On Saturday Valletta returned to winning ways after seeing off Naxxar with a 5-4 scoreline. It was a balanced match played at the Corradino Sports Complex with both sets of players playing a good level of futsal. Naxxar were twice in advantage over the Citizens after Renald Formston was shown the red card. But a great comeback from Valletta gave them the second win of the season to continue challenging in the upper part of the standings. Naxxar gave their utmost in this game and were really unlucky to lose this game.

In the other FXDD First Division matches, Msida grabbed the third win of the season after a 6-3 victory against Marsascala. In an interesting encounter Kalkara won over Fgura 5-4.
